In order to unlock the GM Employee Discount, you'll need to obtain an authorization number. This number serves as proof that you are eligible for the discount and allows you to access the special pricing when purchasing or leasing a new GM vehicle.
To use the GM family and friends discounts, you need a GM employee to sponsor you and provide you with an authorization number. The employee needs your date of birth and zip code to get you an authorization number from his online account at the GM Family First website.
Choose your eligible, new Chevrolet, Buick, GMC or Cadillac vehicle at a participating GM dealership, and call to obtain your vehicle authorization number. Call. GM employees and retirees can go to GM Family First or call 1-800-235-4646. GM Suppliers can visit GM Supplier Discount or call 1-800-960-3375.
To make your GM Family First benefits even more seamless, GM has updated the authorization process. You must provide us with your GM Authorization number at the time of vehicle delivery to receive your offer.
Current employees and retirees: Active GM employees (and GM retirees) and active GM Financial employees (and GM Financial retirees) are eligible to receive six (6) Authorization Numbers per year.
