Under the home page menu delete the previous home page and type www.yahoo.com. Click Apply and Ok.....restart your browser. Hope this helps!
Open my.yahoo.com page on Edge with your account and also open it in Internet Explorer (IE) with your husband's account. Now click on Add Content tab on both Edge and Internet Explorer (IE). Now select News from the left pane on both and tally/compare which options are ticked on IE and not on Edge. Click on the + sign in Edge and make the changes.

If these options are activated on Microsoft Edge and just deactivate it, go to the Search Bar and Dialog Box tab and enter Yahoo, then go to the Home tab and enter Yahoo.com. Hope this helps. Reset the Edge. -Open Edge and click the 3 dots at the upper right side of your screen. -Go to Settings. -Look for Reset Settings. -Click Restore settings to their default values. (This will reset your startup page, new tab page, search engine, and pinned tabs. It will also disable all extensions and clear temporary data like cookies.
