I just received my Army Reserve IRR records with my name change from NARA. I was informed on the Cover Letter, we do not receive DD 214's at all. I filed for my DD 214 online through eVETRECS for name change, have a link to download all documents from the Army Reserve IRR. Best of luck and thank you for your Service.

The program to issue the Cold War Recognition Certificate is run by the United States Army. There is an official Army web site where you can request Cold War Recognition Certificates. This site should be used by everyone who qualifies for the certificate, no matter which branch of the armed forces or agency of the federal government you served.
Reviewed the AHRC site and reviewed the records again, there was a Separation Order which was created at the completion of the Reserve period, which would have included any IMA, IRR or Active Reserve time…. I am seeking to obtain a DD256 or a certificate of honorable discharge from the US Army. I was active duty for 4 years from 1987-1992.
