The CVA Learning Centers are available to students who need assistance getting started with a CVA course, navigating their academic course, and completing course assignments. The CVA Learning Centers also provide limited academic assistance.
CVA offers courses during the Fall, Spring, and Summer Terms. One-Credit courses are offered in 3-ways: Full-credit (Y, 1.0 credit); First Half (A, 0.5 credit); Second Half (B, 0.5 credit). This accommodates the various school schedules throughout the Cobb County School District.
Middle and high school students interested in part-time online learning will be able to register through the Cobb Virtual Academy. High school students interested in alternative, full-time blended learning will be able to register through Cobb Horizon High School.
1. Select the Term. 2. Locate your course (s). You may search for your course by Title, Subject or scroll the list of course selections. 3. Select the course (s) check box. 4. Click Register after you have selected your CVA courses to continue the registration process.
Fall Term Information 2024. During Fall term, students should expect to productively participate daily and work approximately 5-7 hours a week in both online and offline activities to complete all requirements for an A or B (.5 unit) class.

Cobb Online Learning Academy (COLA) is the full-time, online public school in the Cobb County School District for both middle and high school students. Students participate in a combination of live (synchronous) and independent learning experiences (asynchronous) that align to the Georgia Standards of Excellence.
