    In this case I am looking at the Azure Cloud Service resource. At some point it says: 1 Virtual Machine x 730 hours = $137.24. I understand that there are ~730 hours in a month. From what I have read they say that if you need the resource to be 100% available, then fill in 730 hours.

  11. Looking at the Azure pricing site, it says the cost is $55.00 for a 100,000 operations. As reading is supposed to be much more expensive, I suppose there will be a large number of operations. You can find this information on Azure Storage Pricing page. Pricing depends on the region where data is stored so it basically would vary.
