I'm having that issue where DS4Windows (yes the newest one from Ryochan7, 3.0.1) can't download and install the driver. It'll say something like 97.4% done or 99.9% done and close out the initial setup window, and my controller will never show up. When I close and restart DS4Windows it gives me the notification saying "VIGEmBus not installed."
Hmm no joy, when I try to install it ViGembus it says that I already have the latest version. And if DS4 trys to install it crashes. I have removed all instances of DS4, SPC toolkit and other Neferious software but it still won't install over the top of the (presumably broken) instance.
Software like ViGEmBus, HidHide and older versions of BthPS3 got shipped with an auto-updater service that currently communicates with a server domains that won't belong to us anymore after the end of 2023. Because of this, the configuration of the updaters need to be adjust so they contact our new server domain from now on.

ViGEmBus has shown its age for quite some time now. The code comes from a different time, it's aged badly, is difficult to understand and maintain/update. Plus I didn't push any changes recently other than some bugfixes anyway, so the update pace was almost at a standstill as it is.
