10 years of iPhones and I have never dropped one. I am concerned about the 12 Max Pro and its size and bulkiness so I am going to go caseless. I took my 11 Pro Max out of its leather case at the weekend and have been using it naked. Its like a new phone. Apart from appreciating how good it looks, its so much easier to use than when its in a case.

For my earlier phone, (6S plus), I had the black apple leather case. Absolutely loved yet, and it aged great. BUT, I have been having a not-so-fun time concluding on a leather case for my iPhone 12 pro. Leather to me, means PREMIUM and CLASS. Not sure any of the offerings really wow me. (I don't care about MagSafe).
Take it back to apple for a replacement or refund, strange that it’s peeling already, my launch day 12 pro max leather case is still going strong, my previous apple silicone case for my xs max lasted me a year and a half before it started peeling.

With a phone this large and a price tag to match, I want a case. Not only for the protection but also for the ability to hold onto it better. Currently using a clear Otterbox Symmetry case. I like the rubbery feel to the edges. Not so much the back as it is a smudge magnet. Have a couple of others coming to see which wins out for daily use.
My iPhone 12 Pro Max has been in a case for its entire life, I never take it out of the case except rarely to clean it. Today I took it out of the case to clean it, and I noticed that the rear glass panel is shattered. The rear panel is still on, and I don't know when it happened.
I just got my iPhone 12 on Friday. I ordered my usual Spigen "thin fit" case - unfortunately - the new case its more bulky than the previous "thin fits." So I am looking for something more minimal, and more importantly, with the bottom of the phone open and not covered. I'm used to sliding my finger up without a ridge to contend with.
