So I went into GameStop yesterday to pick up SMTV Vengeance when I saw the cashier was organizing display boxes for some PS5 games. PS5 came through and the PSVR2 came through (performance wise). I expect this to come through. I just want to finally start my backlog with a great image quality experience... these FSR2 games/artifacts this gen have really scared me off from buying and starting some of these games. Our games should not look that fuzzy.
Yeah that's pretty understandable lol. Eating just a $75 loss on my PS5 DE 3.5 years on is tempting given how little I've used it over the past couple of years and change - never mind the only announced exclusive I'm interested in is DS2, which doesn't drop until sometime in 2025 and will almost certainly have a PC version sooner rather than later.

At $75 it might be worth to go for the GameStop drive anyway - that's a good deal, and since you're a Pro member if you have issues I think you get a decent warranty experience? And for a PS5 drive, it doesn't actually matter if it fails - game saves don't end up on the external drive AFAIK, and you probably also have PS Plus for save backups.
