Just for fun, huh? Carry gun: Tough call. .31 black powder 1849 Colt Pocket replica with shortened barrel (ain't a firearm) with a .22 LR conversion cylinder (ain't a firearm). Or maybe a .31 black powder 1863 Remington (ain't a firearm) with a .32 S&W conversion cylinder (ain't a firearm).

  3. Mini 14 for 2 gun? - Northeastshooters.com Forums

Aug 30, 2024. #7/21. I'm a huge fan of Ruger in general, and a huge hater of AR-15s. I'd say you should go with the AR. Mini 14s aren't known for stellar accuracy, while I was able to get decent groups with my son's AR pistol. ARs are easier to remove the magazine than the Mini. Mini 14 is also going to be more expensive than a large portion of ...

Feedback: 12 / 0 / 0. Dec 26, 2012. #5/6. +1 on the Tapco and US Piston. Yes, the Mak 90 trigger group is great, but it also counts as 3 foreign parts, really limiting what you can do. The tapco is only slightly worse than the original group. Add the Piston, and you are pretty well set to go, with US parts.

General. My Mini-14 is the tactical model with traditional stock and flash hider. It is a well finished gun overall. The blue-ing has worn off over time especially in areas of high contact, but this is primarily only cosmetic issue and it can be useful to note areas of potential wear-and-tear.

  9. Who's buying a switchblade? | Page 9 | Northeastshooters.com...

    www.northeastshooters.com/xen/threads/whos-buying-a-switchblade.479218/page-9

Because unlike a gun or a sap, most of us use our knives a lot during the day. But we don’t use them for defense, just utilitarian tasks. So when it comes time to open a box it’s just fun to pull a switchblade and snick it open. It’s way cooler than thumbing open a Buck 110, even if the Buck is a better knife.

26,757. Feedback: 155 / 0 / 0. Dec 15, 2019. #1/52. My dad bought this Mossberg 151M-C along with a couple other rifles from a friend. Paid $150 for it. Seems like a good deal to me. It’s got some surface rust in spots which could probably clean up with steel wool and CLP. Came with the factory peep sight and an old Bushnell 3-8X scope.
