For my suggestion, please kindly try the following workaround to fix this case if possible: 1. Firstly, please try to switch back to your Classic Outlook. You may check if your exchange account could be synced after switching back to New Outlook. If needed, you may Import settings to the new Outlook for Windows.
It was very simple with the Outlook 2019 and previous versions to simply export all of your data as a PST. However, since the New Outlook stores the messages as EMLs, I've found that there is no mass export option. I can only export one email message at a time. Just a follow up on this thread. The new outlook now has a feature setting to automatically pop-out emails for new emails, replies and forwards. You can check this via Settings >Mail >Compose and reply >Pop out settings >Pop-out a new window. Example in screenshot below. Thank you for your precious time and have a great day.
