I recently was messaged on Roblox about someone wanting to use my avatar for their graphic design project. The message seemed legit but I’m skeptical since they wanted me to go on the site mentioned in the picture and look at a tutorial on how to download an extension. I’m 95% sure it’s scam but I wanted other opinions.

There is actually one fully legit way to get "free" Robux that I know of, through Microsoft Rewards. I am unsure if they have a partnership with Roblox, but since they have specific codes they provide(I.E 100 Robux for 1500 points) I am fairly certain its legit and that they probably have a partnership, especially since its Microsoft offering this.
You bought from a scam site. Be less of a moron in the future. Just because Roblox is in the link doesn't make it the official site. How the fuck did you assume cashstar was the official roblox site bro that's one of the biggest games in the world you didn't think the website might be a bit more sophisticated than cashstar?
The "Roblox scammer" could go look at the data breach look through all of the accounts listed and emails and then go on roblox and check every username, and since you used your username on the site they could then send you an email (with the one they found in the data breach) and steal your account assuming you are the same person on roblox.
One thing you can do is go to roblox and search the persons account and if their avatar is different then the one on the link or if the account dosnt exist, then it’s probably a scam. You could also just look at the link and see if it’s different the the actual roblox link like “www.r0blox.com” or something dumb like that.

Scam: Website / Ad As you can see in the photo there is a Roblox link, he claims it to be the private server link for ragdoll. What i did not see till after i logged in using that Roblox link, is that it has a thing where when you log in he takes your pass.
Thankfully, (actual) Roblox Support was able to restore my email to my account and lifted my ban. No complaints about them here; they've been very understanding about my situation. The issue is that, whenever Roblox Support restores my account, the hijacker logs in anyway and goes onto group walls to post messages that result in an instant ban.
