    forums.xfinity.com/conversations/your-home-network/upload-speed-on-connect...

I have been doing some more research into xfinity upload speeds. Xfinity had indicated that the connect more plan (200 down) will get 100 upload (it’s a press release). This has been indicated and it states upgrades from 10 to 100 are taking place in certain markets and growing. I was told I should get 100 upload when I added the xFi complete.

I am using my own device with Xfinity, and about a month ago, I did the investment to upgrade my devices to get next gen upload speeds with my "Fast" internet plan. I've been using an Arris S33 modem, which is an Xfinity-approved modem, but am still getting up to 10 Mbps upload since then.

    forums.xfinity.com/conversations/your-home-network/customer-owned-modem-faster...

Right now I have a 400/100 plan, but when I first signed up for this plan a few years ago, they said my upload speeds were capped at 12 Mbps PER MY PLAN. Since then, the plan itself has changed, and my download and upload rates have gone up on my plan page several times, currently at 400/100.

  9. SB8200 Modem Not Achieving 100 Mbps Upload Speeds - Xfinity...

    forums.xfinity.com/conversations/your-home-network/sb8200-modem-not-achieving...

"By default, all Comcast-certified devices on this site will support all Comcast Internet plan upload speeds" Furthermore, the Arris SB8200 is capable hardware to support 100 Mbps upload speeds. If Arris SB8200 so happens to now not be "certified" then it is not our fault.

  10. Why upload speed is so slow? | Xfinity Community Forum

    forums.xfinity.com/conversations/your-home-network/why-upload-speed-is-so-slow/...

My monthly Internet plan is 100mbps. The actual download speed is around 115mbps but the upload speed is merely 4mbps, that is only 3% of what is claimed to be. I understand that because Comcast use Coaxial Cable to transfer data so upload will be slower than download but a 4mbps is unacceptable speed!

I received the same email as well and bought the coda 56 modem. I did indeed see an increase on my upload speeds. My old modem was also a DOCSIS 3.1 that offered multi-gig but I could not get a very good upload speeds after changing to the coda 56. My upload speed increased by maybe five to seven times. I'm on the 1gb/s plan. Hope this helps
