Parker Posey is a real piece of work - clearly struggling with a personality disorder. I remember one night at a LES bar, a friend of mine, who works in the industry, was with us. Parker happened to know her and practically clung to our group. We eventually had to ditch her and head to my friend’s apartment, just a short walk away.
Parker Posey was there, with a lady friend who was also clearly a SJP stan. It became clear that SJ Parker had not recognized Parker Posey, as she was focused on the two customer-fans who were slobbering stan affection all over the SJP and her shoes. I was over it. August 16, 2021 7:23 AM. I am a huge Parker Posey fan. I think she’s fantastic. I’ve admired her work ever since “Party Girl”. Parker, myself and a friend hung out one time, only for an hour or two, at the old Tuesday night Beige Party at B Bar on the Lower East Side, early 2000s. So much fun!
Parker (the OG one) went "mainstream" (somewhat in 1993) with "Dazed & Confused." Younger Parker was born in '95. Unlikely, but certainly possible. Though it begs the question of why the latter didn't adopt a new stage name - "Parker McKenna Posey" sounds as ridiculous as "Gwyneth McKenna Paltrow," but without the grade-A-cunt actress underneath.

I was a teenager and tuned into that show every night, mostly because of the chemistry among Willard, Mull, and the guy with the golf ball on his chin who would appear at odd intervals to make claims about UFOs.
Parker Posey spent the better part of a summer filming a movie in my very unglamorous hometown. I was like 17 and working at the Gap in the mall and she would come in regularly and made a point of getting me to help her after I put together an outfit for her and guessed all her sizes right the first time she came in.
