Shure SRH840, are a value filled set of extraordinary headphones, worth every single coin you spend on it. The bass register is perfect for any genre of song you play through you phone/computer/mixing desk etc.
These at the time were the second product of Shure’s that I had heard and they have really secured my love for Shure’s products. They are a good set of headphones that sound decent I found my-self needing a set of over-ear headphones for every day use and decided to get these based on a few video reviews.

Great accessories, as expected of Shure.----Build Quality: Well, Shure has been known for legendary build quality, but their SRH940 was a huge disappointment, as it cracked very very easily. In fact, my SRH940 cracked, so I had to get it replaced. Thankfully, they do have great warranty in Shure USA. So, the SRH1540...Job well done Shure.

The Shure SRH 940 is my first closed headphones and I am both intrigued and disappointed at the same time. Packaging It comes with an awesome carrying case along with generous contents - extra pads and two replaceable cables (coiled and straight). I wish other audio manufacturers (cough.. Beyer.. cough) would be as generous as the folks at Shure.
