Check out Zenni Optical online. I have purchased several pairs over the years and are priced at a mere fraction of what the local stores charge. You can “try on” the glasses you are considering and see what they will look like on you with an app on their website. Hundreds of styles to choose from.

I use zenni.com for all of my eyeglasses. They are high quality, and you can usually buy about 5 pairs for the price of one pair in a local store. The selection is also much better. As far as getting a repair, I have found that most optical stores don't care where you bought them, and they will usually do a simple repair for free.

SAFE Eclipse glasses. We ordered ours online from Lowes. Picked them up same day. They were $5.00 and included a nice informative booklet. They ARE the safe ones. I tried to order them from Lowes and the web-site says that they are only available at the store and to call them to see if they are in at their local store.

Any experience with cataract surgery at lake eye. I forgot to ask, I am assuming that you are new to cataract surgery, so I strongly suggest you familiarize yourself with all of the options. Excellent care was afforded by their surgeon (Dr. Vinay Gutti) and his staff. We opted to use the standard lens. The minimal cost of reading glasses overrode the cost of the special lens, which 2 years ago was about $2500 per eye. Unless you are uncomfortable wearing glasses to read, using the standard lens is the way to go in our opinion.

Medicare covers a basic version of cataract surgery, performed by hand, with a basic lens implant, that is not customized to your eyes. It also covers 90 days of routine follow-up care. Modern lens implant or laser cataract surgery costs are out of pocket. Medicare will still be paying its portion of the surgery.

Cost was $3300 per eye, out of pocket, opted for laser surgery. This included surgery fee, facility fee, prescription eye drops, and initial consultation. Provider was good, answered all her questions. Went back for two follow-ups. She says colors are sharper, she can read and watch tv without glasses now.

Yes we have a "french drain" system, as they could not get through the clay layer to install the simple drain. Pennsylvania, for 60+ years, most recently, Allentown, now TV. Some of the water softener discharges I have seen are just a pipe through the exterior wall and the water flows onto the ground. No French drain.
